1. You are a “we” not a “me”
You cannot make decisions independently anymore. Your life decisions can and will impact your spouse. If you do not learn this fairly quickly it could impact the stability of your relationship.
2. Just because he is your husband does not mean he is perfect
Remember that both you and your husband will make mistakes. You are both human beings and are fallible. You need to learn to forgive and also you need to learn from your mistakes.
3. Have fun
Although I love my children, I did not take advantage of the time we had together as newlyweds and prior to having kids. When a new addition enters your family it is more challenging to do things that you used to like to do together.
Not to be quickly shaken in mind or alarmed, either by a spirit or a spoken word, or a letter seeming to be from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come (2 Thessalonians 2:2).
