Jim Stafford
James “Jim” Stafford is a Virginia native, but grew-up in Southeast Florida. He began his career as an educator, but after his first son was born and subsequently was diagnosed with autism he explored various careers that would provide him with the flexibility he needed to ensure that his son received the attention and care needed. After a bit of soul searching Jim found is true “career” calling: Photography. Jim is published and award winning photographer who specializes in commercial, portrait, and large event photography.
Dr. Gina Stafford was born in New York, grew up in New Jersey, and moved to Florida when she was 19 after transferring to a South Florida University. She did not like Florida too much and was adamat that she would return north after the semester ended, but her plans changed when she met Jim in her astronomy class. Their love blossomed rapidly and love turned into marriage. Today Jim and Gina still reside in Southeast Florida with their four sons.
Gina received her Bachelor’s Degree in Health Administration, but after degree attainment she went back to school to become a certified Math Teacher. Gina’s love of education did not stop in the classroom. She was fascinated by leadership. This fascination led to a Master’s Degree as well as a Doctoral Degree in Educational Leadership.
The majority of Gina’s professional experience has been obtained working in a K-12 public education setting; however she has had the privilege of teaching education and leadership courses at several universities as well.Fun

Dr. Gina and Jim Stafford have been married for over 15 years. Throughout that time they had four beautiful children – all boys!!! Over the course of their relationship they have faced ups and downs, especially since three out of the four sons were diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Despite the obstacles that came their way, their marriage has grown stronger. People who know the couple always ask how they do it. The answer is that with hard work and faith anything is possible. The couple decided to share their story, their strategies, and their lives with other couples to assist them in building a relationship just as strong as their own.
